Hand embroidered by artisans across New Delhi, and Kolkata, each pillow features subtle variations in the placement of the pattern that make it truly one-of-a-kind.

Materials & details

Material: Cotton/linen blend

Details: Solid back. Finished with a cotton backing and decorative flange and closed with an invisible YKK zipper.

Provenance

This pillow is inspired by Pichhwai (translation: hangs from the back) hand painted murals that traditionally hung in Hindu temples in Rajasthan. The technique dates back to the 16th century. We have reimagined the technique to through a combination of Kantha and Kashidakari-inspired embroidery to create a beautifully textured finish.
